Education cabinet secretary who is also the acting interior security Cs Fred Matiang’i has assured Kenyans that security is improved in all parts of the county as the next general elections draws near.
According to Matiang’I nothing to fear as august 8 polls beckons since the government has put enough measures of ensuring that peace is experienced across the country.
Speaking at Kebirigo in Nyamira County on Sunday, Matiang’i urged Christians to continue praying for this country to continue having peace.
“We need to have peace because after elections we still need our beloved country ‘Kenya’ let us pray for our nation and continue preaching peace,” said Matiang’i.
The CS also challenged youths not to accept to be used by politicians to engage in violence but to embrace peace.
“I want to advice our young generation once you meet people inssteady of greeting them just tell them peace be with you and that we be one way of preaching peace in our nation,” he added.
