A Mombasa-based businessman has been arrested over illegal siphoning of oil.
Polycarp Ocholla was arrested on Monday for the crime he allegedly committed in Muhoroni.Ocholla is accused of siphoning oil from the Kenya Pipeline in Muhoroni.The businessman has investments in the security sector and owns the Guardforce Group of Companies.In 2015, the tycoon was involved in a case where his wife and house girl allegedly plotted to kill him.Rose Adhiambo and her maid Dorris Akinyi are accused of hiring hitmen to kill Mr Ocholla at Beach Road Estate in Mombasa.Adhiambo was arrested after she was caught by her husband allegedly withdrawing Sh1.2 million from the bank to pay the assassins.
