Nyamira Senator Kenneth Mong'are now blames the regimes that have been in power of failing to follow the due process in the fight against corruption.

According to him, he was the only person with a plant to fight the vice in the country saying he is ready to follow the due process in the fight.

"Look at the goldenberg scandal, 30 years down the line the amount of funds the government is spending following the case is almost the same amount that was looted at that time," he told K24 Alfajiri on Wednesday.

"So I think i am the only one with a plan to follow the due process," he added.

The President hopeful insisted he was ready to recover property that was stolen from the public by talking to the 'thieves' and asking them, nicely, to surrender whatever they have stolen from Kenyans.

"What we should do is document the thieves and talk to them nicely, i won't lie that i will jail them, they have invested for us. I have a plan to rehabilitate them," he said

"We will get the thieves they surrender what they have kept from Kenyans and then we leave them with something small for rehabilitation," he added.
