Ganze MP-elect Teddy Mwambire has vowed to ensure individuals who mismanaged the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) are prosecuted.

On Sunday, Mwambire said he will conduct an audit on how the funds were utilised by the former committee and ensure those who were involved in the misuse are brought to book.The audit, he added, will help him know which projects to give priority.“That will help to identify if funds meant for various projects were mismanaged or projects shoddily done and take those who were in charge to task,” said the lawmaker as quoted by The Star.The former Kilifi assembly deputy speaker made the remarks in Kilifi town on Sunday.Mwambire beat his main challenger, Peter Shehe of Jubilee Party in last Tuesday’s polls after garnering 14,703 votes.
