Lari MP Mburu Kahangara on Thursday officially opened new classrooms at Kinale Primary School whose construction was sponsored by the Lari Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

The MP also promised to keep fostering development in the area as he pledged during the campaigns.

"I will fully deliver my promises just as I promised. Our constituency will never be ranked in the list of poorly performing constituencies academically. We must invest in education sector,” said Kahangara.

 Kahangara listed all the development projects which the constituency, in collaboration with the Kiambu County Government are undertaking.

“I want to warn parents who have not taken their children to school that the government will take stern action against them. The Kenya constitution guarantees every child a right to education,” said Kahangara.

He ordered chiefs in the area to ensure that children in their respective villages attend schools without missing.

He further called on well-wishers to partner with the education sector to improve the level of education in the area.

The school had five classes added in the initiative.
