Kasipul MP and Governor aspirant Oyugi Magwana has claimed that that his rivals are planning violence ahead of a NASA rally in Homa Bay County on Monday.

The MP claims his opponents have given out t-shirts labeled 'Team Tiacha' to a man hired  to cause chaos.

He also believes that his opponents intend to accuse him of inciting the violence and as a result he has informed the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.

Earlier this year, allegations circulated that his was in charge of a militia group called "Tiacha'.

His name was not among those gazetted thus creating a lot of tension in Homa Bay.

However IEBC charmain Wafula Chebukati confirmed to the local residents that the MPs name was indeed on the ballot.

Raila Odinga and NASA are campaigning in the county today with Musalia Mudavadi.

The MP is set to compete with Governor Cyprian Awiti of ODM, Tom Alila of Jubilee, and Medo Misama who is running as an independent candidate.
