Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has launched off the warm reception that President Uhuru Kenyatta received while campaigning in Western Kenya counties. The UhuRuto team attracted crowds in Bungoma, Busia and Bongoma, making many analysts predict that the ground was changing in favor of the Jubilee Party. But Mr Mudavadi, who is managing NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s campaigns, says people showing up at political rallies does not reveal how they are going to vote. “People of western Kenya are democratic and that is why they turned up in Jubilee campaigns,” Mudavadi, as per Citizen TV.“This does not mean that Jubilee will win Western Kenya votes, they are solely behind NASA,” he added. The former presidential hopeful has accused the Jubilee Party of using State resources to campaign, a move that is illegal.
