Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua has shared his experience of the SGR passenger train from Nairobi to Mombasa.
Through his facebook account, Mutua said that the exciting journey reminded him of his "Msafiri" days. The ability to travel to Mombasa in just four hours in safety and comfort was just out of this world for him
His wife Lilian was also part of the amazing journey.
The county boss said that the train station resembled an international modern airport terminal than a regular station.
They both had a chance to interact with some of the 29 crew members on the train noticing that they were both from every corner of Kenya.
Passing Tsavo national park was magical for both of them. Having to look at beautiful animals on the way to Mombasa also a sight of the iron snake he saw as it sped from the highlands to the ocean.
And just like that the Governor om Machakos County and his beautiful wife rolled into Mombasa county in style and looking fresh as well.
