The new clinic will be located at the Crystal Rivers Mall. The facility, which will offer services 24/7, is a great milestone in the fight to provide better health care services to residents of Machakos.

According to the management of Nairobi Hospital, the decision was reached because of the increased demand for better healthcare in Machakos County.

The hospital will not only serve patients from the county but also its environs once set up. In a statement released to the newsrooms, Chief executive Gordon Odundo said that the new clinic is part of the medical service providers plans to expand its coverage in different parts of the nation.

“We also recognise that there is latent demand for a quality medical facility along Mombasa Road where we expect our clinic to annually serve at least half a million residents of the area,” Odundo said, as quoted by Star.

The clinic will offer different services including advanced laboratory and radiology services with CT scanning. The establishment of the clinic boosts the national and county governments’ efforts to provide affordable and better healthcare.
