A former pupil at Loreto Convent Msongari Girls Primary School has sued the school to award her a Sh28 million compensation.
Madikizela Otieno, currently 19, wants the school compelled to compensate her for an accident that involved their school bus in 2011 where three other pupils lost their lives.
She argues that the money will be used to stand for the pain she underwent, her body injuries and to offset future medical expenses.
The law student at Nottingham University in United Kingdom is said to have sustained serious face, head and right shoulder injuries when the accident occurred.
She said the accident cost her parents about Sh14 million for medical attention in local hospitals, Sh2.1 million at a Britain hospital, and that she is yet to recover fully.
