This was after the governor said that they had reserved the innermost lane of the road to be used by passenger buses.

Residents said that the governor should have chosen the outermost lane since that was friendly to the PSV custom of dropping off and picking passengers.

Bosco John asked: "Why the hell are they doing the right side?slower automobile keep left why didn't they paint the middle or left.,they will keep cut across to drop passengers, PSV speed limit is 80, I thought the right-hand side is for fast moving at a maximum of 110."

Marsh Macharia said: "This looks very strange bw Governor! Should the bus lane be on the fast lane ( far right) or slow lane ( far left)? How will these buses offload without cutting across traffic on other lanes?"

Denisse Daiya Almasi said: "Enyewe certificate za watu wale walisoma from 1997 up to 2013, should be announced invalid! Kwan wat is it hard to understand."

Kinuthia David said: "That's ridiculous, expect accidents, that should be for the fast-moving vehicle."

Ken Ogutu Andele also predicted accidents: "Wait for a series of head-on meets."
