Divers searching for the bodies of the Nakuru Chopper crash on Saturday recovered some persona;l items belonging to one of the people aboard the ill-fated helicopter.

According to the rescue team, the items belong to a male occupant and include a jubilee branded t-shirt and jacket, a trouser and a wallet.

They were found in the North Eastern part of the Lake on Saturday afternoon.

The recovery raises the hopes of family members who have been camping on the Lake for weeks now since the accident happened waiting for any signs of their loved ones. 

Two bodies have already been recovered. That of the Pilot Apollo Malowa, 34 and Anthony Kipyego, 28 and are being buried today. 

The bodies that are still missing include that of Sam Gitau, John Mapozi, and Veronica Muthoni.

The rescue team, led by Jonathan Kertich from the National disaster operations center assured the families that they are doing all they can to retrieve the bodies.
