The gang, apparently hatched a plan replica to government's programme of issuing motorbikes to chiefs.
The gang has been making calls asking for cash for one to receive a government motorbike.
"They make calls impersonating the county commissioner among others. They tell their targets to send money to receive the said motobikes," Nakuru county police commander Hassan Barua said.
