The National Super Alliance NASA has announced it will officially unveil it presidential flag bearer Thursday next week at Uhuru Park in Nairobi.

Speaking at the Bomas of Kenya, the announcement came a day after the entry of CCM leader Issac Ruto as the Fifth principal of the alliance

“I stand before you to report progress and give you a date with destiny. On the 27th of April, 2017 we have a date with you in Uhuru Park and that day you will be told the team that will liberate Kenyans. The power sharing agreement has been completed and we want to share power equally and horizontally,” Wetangula said.

Raila, who has been seen to carry the NASA flag according to the latest opinion polls welcomed Ruto to the NASA team saying they will fight corruption if they win the August election.

 “I am proud to welcome Ruto to the NASA Summit. With his entry, we launch a new march towards the August 8 elections, the day on which we shall liberate Kenyans," he said. 

NASA has been having a series of meetings and retreats in the recent past in a bid to select their presidential candidate who will battle it out with Uhuru Kenyatta.
