ODM secretary general Agnes Zani has dismissed claims by Deputy President William Ruto that the opposition is made up of power hungry individuals.

According to Zani, Ruto and President Uhuru are also looking to retain the same power.

The Nominated senator who spoke on K24's Alfajiri show on Thursday explained that the opposition was after acquiring power to transform Kenya, and added that they have a clear agenda to solve problems facing Kenyans.

"Politics is about looking for power. Uhuru and Ruto are looking for the same thing, but it is not just getting into power, it is what you do with that power. It is about having a clear vision for this country. NASA has articulated their vision, a clear vision for that matter," she said.

"NASA is talking about power to address issues facing Kenyans, it is not just about dividing power among the principals. At least it is only NASA  that has had a template to show Kenyans and we have not seen that from Jubilee Party," she added.

The senator also accused the Jubilee administration saying it has performed dismally in the first five years in office.

"This is the worst time we have had in terms of our economy, performance and social issues," she said referring to the Jubilee's term in office.
