[Photo|@citizentvkenya]The national super Alliance (NASA), presidential candidate Raila Odinga, has been hailed, after he announced that the alliance will be heading to court, over the August 8 presidential election.Raila who lost to incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta, disputed the results, saying they were computer generated to favour Uhuru.During a Nasa major announcement at the Okoa Kenya Offices in Nairobi, Wednesday evening, Raila said the Supreme Court would determine the case and give Kenyans a democracy.He has since been hailed by his Nasa supporters across the country and a section of Uhuru's supporters, who said the decision was the best."We were eager to know what will happen, and I am happy that Raila is heading to the Supreme Court, instead of violence and protests," said a resident in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County."I am a Nasa supporter and I did not agree when Uhuru was declared the winner. Nasa won and we hope the Supreme Court will give us our win," added another, in Mombasa.Nasa's move was also welcomed by the UK envoy to Kenya, Nic Hailey, who said it was the proper means the Opposition resulted to take.Speaking at the All Saint's Cathedral in Nairobi, Hailey said there were legal mechanisms for any aggrieved party in an election, to use, for the safety of the citizens."I welcome their decision. It's the best legal means anyone can use," said Hailey, Wednesday evening.US Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec, also hailed the Opposition's decision."I welcome the decision. The Opposition made the correct decision," Godec noted.
