A total of 900 have been recruited into the NYS Youth Empowerment Programme for Mosop Constituency.

Launched at Kabiyet, Nandi County, Monday, the programme was presided over by the NYS Deputy Director General James Tembur and area MP Kirwa Bitok.

Works to be done include road grading, environmental conservation and water drilling.

According to Bitok, apart from developing the constituency, the programme is aimed at empowering the youth.

“The youth were selected from all the wards in the constituency,” he said.

“They will earn a good amount daily and at the end of the programme, everybody will be given their savings different form the daily earnings,” he added.

Bitok said the Jubilee government had delivered its many of its promises as opposed to the oppositions criticism.

“This is the government that has delivered to its best than the past regimes.Let us support them fully and ensure that it is re-elected in August,” he said.
