Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper party has declared war against the ODM party, saying it will not be business as usual, following the removal of Moses Wetangula as the minority leader in the Senate.
NASA senators on Tuesday went ahead with their threat to replace the Bungoma County senator with his Siaya counterpart James Orengo.
“@TheODMparty has blatantly crossed a red line by making a mockery of the NASA Coalition. The treatment of Sen.Moses Wetangula is unacceptable. It will not be business as usual,” the Wiper party’s official Twitter account said.
A team of ODM senators, who make up more than two-thirds of the senators from the NASA coalition, had met and agreed to eject the Ford Kenya leader.
The NASA senators accused their former leader of lacking zeal and incompetence.
Earlier, Wetangula, also a NASA principal, had warned that the ODM party should be prepared for a messy divorce. “If anybody wants a divorce, it will be messy, noisy and it will have casualties,” Wetangula said.
