ODM national executive secretary Amos Olempaka said the best alliance Mr Moi can join is NASA.

He said Jubilee, going by its activities for the last four years cannot be trusted.

"They only come here in an attempt to throw you out of office," he said as quoted by the Star in reference to Mr Moi.

"They have no agenda of developing this region."

Mr Olempaka who spoke in Marigat on Thursday said Jubilee's failure tackle runaway corruption and create jobs for the youth had let down Kenyans.

"Let Jubilee end wanton cattle rustling by armed Pokot bandits, and complete Marigat-Karandi tarmac road, Kipsaram-Oinobmoi-Kinyach road before the polls," he added.

On Thursday at a press conference in Nairobi, Senator Moi announced that Kanu is exploring the option of merging with either NASA or Jubilee.

He said the party, after consulting members will communicate its direction in two weeks ahead of the August 8 polls.

"Turn around and join NASA if you want to survive the next election. Jubilee officials have no good intentions for you."

Senator Moi has for the last two years been at loggerheads with Deputy President William Ruto over control of Rift Valley politics.

Each claims they are in control of the politics of the vote-rich region.

Their supremacy battles were evident during the burial of former Nominated MP Mark Too in Kapseret, Uasin Gishu County.
