ODM flag bearer in the Turbo parliamentary race David Songok has asked the Kalenjin community to shift their support to opposition.
Songok said Nasa is going to win the elections and the community should not be locked out in the next government.
He was speaking at Kamagut, Friday when he launched his campaigns for the seat.
“It is clear that Nasa is going to win the elections and I want to ask you early to back Raila Odinga. That is the only way the community will be in the next government,” Songok said.
He blasted on Deputy President William Ruto for taking the community for a ride yet they had not benefited from the Jubilee administration.
“You are bragging off that you are in the government yet the community is suffering. There are many challenges like prices of maize being low among other issues. Ruto should know that we need a functional government to address our plights and it is Nasa government,” Songok said.
He asked the constituents to vote him for improved developments in the next government.
“Give Nasa an MP from Turbo so that we can work well in the next government. Vote for me in large numbers,” he said.
