Kisii County senatorial aspirant Sam Ongeri has revealed why he decamped Jubilee party for NASA coalition.
According to him, during 2013 campaigns, UhuRuto promised to construct various roads in Gusii region before 2017 elections but failed to fulfill their promises prompting him to decamp for NASA.
Speaking to the press on Wednesday in Kisii town , Ongeri said he had nothing to defend Jubilee administration during 2017 campaigns since it had already failed in usii region.
“Jubilee promised our Kisii community many of development projects before 2017 , now this is 2017 and we have nothing to defend jubilee’s reelection that is why I decamped for NASA because I don’t want to deceive our community,” said Ongeri
Among the roads Jubilee promised to construct in Gusii region which have not been constructed according to Ongeri are: Igonga –Etago –Nyamarambe –Kamagambo , Kemera –Amabuko –Keroka- Kiamokama- Birongo, Metamaywa – kebirigo – Gesima –Nyasiongo –Raitiogo –Sosera-Ramasha, and Ogembo – Tabaka- Kamagambo and other projects
“All those roads were to be constructed before this 2017 elections and money were set aside for those projects and nothing has been done so far ,” Ongeri Added.
He promised to campaign for NASA until it wins to help Kisii people and he called on peaceful elections
Ongeri will vie for kisii county senotorial seat On ODM party and will battle with Charles Nyachae [Jubilee ] Omingo Magara [PDP]among others
