Accompanied by Senator Janet Ongera, Speaker Ondieki Okerosi, Leader of Majority Protus Moindi and a number of leaders from the opposition party, the leaders said that they were dissatisfied with the lower turnout in the ongoing mass listing of voters.

Ongwae said “the deadline is nearing and most people have not registered as voters, I ask that the people come out and register in numbers.”

On her part, Ong'era tasked their supporters to blame the opposition leaders in case they fail to deliver for their party leader Raila Odinga in August.

“The next elections will be won by next week if you will register as voters and after that I will ask you to blame us if we shall not deliver,” she said.

She also noted that the lower turnout was worrying.

“If you will not register as voters then you will be risking because we shall not be able to send the Jubilee regime home,” she said.
