He, instead, said he bolted out of the ruling coalition because he could not stand the rampant corruption and tribalism entertained in Jubilee.

"I did not leave Jubilee because they rigged the 2013 elections," he said on Thursday during an interview on Radio Jambo.

"I left Jubilee because of corruption and tribalism. When the government was being formed we found one tribe being given many positions but we hoped things will change. We thought that our tribes would be remembered."

Oloo, who is eyeing the Kisumu Central MP seat claimed during the talk show that one tribe in the country controls up to 57 percent of senior positions in government.

He said minority tribes have completely been left out in senior government appointments.

"We kept on hoping thinking things will change," he added.

"Is this the country that I want for my children? Where they are considered on the basis of their tribe?"

Oloo close to two weeks ago left Jubilee and publicly declared he had joined ODM.

He made the revelation in Kisumu at a rally attended by ODM party leader Raila Odinga when he toured polling stations in Kisumu.

Jubilee, have however, downplayed his departure from saying he will add no value to the opposition.

Oloo claims he has crucial evidence on how Jubilee plans to rig the August general polls.
