Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga has called on Senator James Orengo and Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo to deal with a petition challenging his win.
The petition was filed by Nicholas Gumbo, former Rarieda MP.
Orengo and Amollo were Raila Odinga’s lead counsels in the presidential petition, which they won.
Gumbo is seeking to nullify Rasanga’s re-election.

The former MP vied for Siaya governor seat as an independent candidate after being floored in Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) primaries.
"If I have Orengo and Amolo, how do you expect him (Gumbo) to win the case?" Rasanga asked his supporters during a rally at the weekend, as quoted by The Star.
