Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi on Monday took his re-election campaigns to Kazungu Kambi's political turf of Kaloleni where he held a series of meetings with opinion leaders from the sub-county.

While using the occasion to hit at the Jubilee government's leadership, the vocal Governor asked President Kenyatta to “prepare for a resounding defeat because Kenyans are tired of his leadership”.The former Magarini MP who asked residents to reject the Jubilee government during the August 8 polls, claimed that the Uhuru Kenyatta-led administration is thriving on lies, adding that Kenyans cannot afford another five years of the same regime.Meanwhile, Kingi who held meetings at Mwanamwinga, Kaloleni and Mariakani wards hailed the recent Court of Appeal ruling that declared results announced at the constituency final.He said the ruling was a game-changer in Kenyan politics as there will be no more manipulation of results.The firebrand Governor asked residents to support his re-election bid said that during his first term in office, he has laid down foundations that will ensure the prosperity of the county.He said another term in office will enable him complete his transformation journey in the county.
