Mwingi Central MP Joe Mutambu wants National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga to provide evidence of his claim that the ruling government intends to rig the August 8 polls.
Mutambu says that Raila should stop speculating if he does not have evidence to support his allegations.
According to the rebel Wiper MP, Raila’s claims are sensitive.
He asked the NASA leader to share the information he has on rigging with investigative agencies instead using it as a campaign tool.
“Raila should stop speculation on sensitive matters if he has no evidence,” he said as quoted by the Daily Nation.
The rebel MP at the same time warned NASA leaders against propaganda. He claimed that NASA has no campaign agenda and is using propaganda to remain relevant.
Mutambu further asked Raila and NASA leaders to declare whether they will concede defeat if defeated by UhuRuto.
“President Kenyatta has said he will concede if defeated on August 8 and we also want to know NASA’s stand,” he said.
A section of NASA politicians have been quoted saying that they will not concede defeat if the August polls will not be free and fair.
