National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga and Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka have continued to differ over six piece voting system ahead of the August general elections.
The calls to vote for Wiper and ODM in different areas have caused a rift between members of the alliance over the past few weeks. Speaking in Embakasi, Kalonzo asked residents to vote for Wiper candidate as opposed to the six piece voting.
“Brother Raila has asked you to vote six-piece and support Esther Passaris (ODM) for woman representative post but as Wiper, here he have Rahab Ndambuki,” Kalonzo said, as quoted by Standard.
In Ruaraka, Raila differed with Amani National Congress (ANC) leader after Raila drummed up support for ODM in the area. “Here we are in Ruaraka and I know kuna fahari wawili wanamenya (there are two bulls fighting),” Raila said in support of Kajwang.
The same case has been witnessed in different parts of the nation. In Mombasa, Senator Omar Hassan and incumbent Governor Ali Hassan Joho have continued to launch attacks on each other even at the alliance maintains there are no divisions.
Earlier on, Omar had asked Joho to pave way for him ahead of the August general elections.
