His campaigns kicked off on Friday and the opposition chief is expected to address his last rally in the county on Sunday.

Raila has been busy crisscrossing the country marketing NASA, a new opposition alliance that seeks to oust President Uhuru Kenyatta from State House.

During the visit, he will be hosted by Turkana Governor Josephat Nanok and will be accompanied by a host of opposition politicians.

Raila posted on his official Facebook page on Friday: "I arrival in Turkana County and was hosted by ODM Deputy Chairman and area Governor Josphat Nanok."

"I will be in the county over the next three days visiting Lokichar, Katili, Lokichoggio, Lodwar among other areas as I seek to meet and engage the people."

Raila is battling it out for the NASA presidential candidature with Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya).

Majority of the voters in Turkana voted for Mr Odinga during the 2013 polls.
