Former Nairobi Gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has said that NASA leader Raila Odinga made a ‘big mistake’ after reports showed that the principal has denied having him sworn in on Tuesday as the president, alongside Uhuru Kenyatta.

NASA leaders led by their principals held a meeting in Maanzoni lodge Machakos County on Saturday where the NASA leader is said to have rejected the plans to have him sworn parallel with Uhuru Kenyatta.

The meeting had two factions; those that supported Raila’s swearing-in and those that do not. It, however, turned out that Raila was not for the idea of being sworn in.

Miguna Miguna, in response via a tweet making comparisons of the case with a situation in Ivory Coast and Gambia where Allasane Quattara and Adama Barrow respectively did the same.

Raila, however, maintained that he will not recognize Uhuru’s presidency and stated that they will go on with their meeting at Jacaranda grounds to mourn those who died in protests.
