Mosop MP Kirwa Bitok has told the electorate to rally behind the Deputy president William Ruto ahead of the elections.
Bitok said the region only recognises Ruto as their kingpin and the perceived renegades should join the bandwagon.
“Ruto is our kingpin and we should always support him because he means good for us. There are those politicians who are trying to sway you because of selfish interests. Don’t accept to be cheated but vote for the Jubilee government in large numbers,” Bitok said.
He was speaking in his constituency, Monday when he toured several CDF funded projects including the opening of new classrooms at St Benedict Secondary Kipsamoite and Chepyewet primary schools.
Bomet governor Isaac Ruto and Baringo senator Gideon Moi have been opposing Ruto in the region.
