The Jubilee Party and the National Super Alliance (NASA) leadership has been urged to work towards reaching a common ground on how repeat Presidential election will be conducted.

Central District Seventh Day Adventist Church Pastor Noah Chumo says there is need for the two major parties in the repeat poll to reach an agreement over the matter.

Speaking in Eldoret town on Monday, Pst. Chumo expressed concerns over the strong positions taken by both NASA and Jubilee leaders over the upcoming poll.

"The push and pull being witnessed now is not good for this country. Jubilee and NASA need to reach a consensus so that the repeat poll is conducted in an environment acceptable to both sides," notes Pst. Chumo.

"As a Church we've been praying and we shall keep praying that the two groups reach an agreement," he added.

The clergyman however reiterated the need for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to be allowed to conduct elections as required by law.
