The National Super Alliance (NASA) might have another plan if protests to eject IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba from office fails.

According to legal experts, NASA can bungle the repeat polls by ensuring that no elections are carried out in their strongholds.

Article 138(2), on Presidential Elections, states that if two or more candidates are nominated, an election shall be held in each constituency.

During a past interview with an International media house, NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga said that if their conditions are not met, Kenyans will not take part in the polls.

"There will be no election because if Kenyans won't take part, it will probably be conducted in one or two regions and not all the regions of Kenya. Therefore, it will not be an election for the entire Republic of Kenya,” Raila said during an interview with DW.

An election has to be held in all 290 constituencies for it to be considered valid.

NASA has shifted blame to Chiloba of being behind electoral fraud in the botched August 8th polls. On Tuesday, NASA kicked off protests to push for an ouster of Chiloba.

The protesters were however dispersed from IEBC offices at Anniversary Towers by anti-riot police officers.
