Opposition leader Raila Odinga has dismissed calls by Jubilee to have fresh recount of presidential votes for August 8 elections.

In a number of public forums, President Uhuru Kenyatta has challenged the Supreme Court to order fresh recount, a move he says, will clear the allegations of rigging.

But Odinga says the move is meant to hoodwink Kenyans about the actual thing that transpired adding that Jubilee printed extra ballot papers estimated to be 2 million.

“It is funny that they want a recount yet we are all aware that they printed over 2 million extra papers which they filled with mysterious ballot papers.

“If at all they want the recount, we also challenge the IEBC to open their servers so that we do comparison. They never win an election and that is the reality,” he said.

Supreme Court nullified Uhuru’s victory on ground that IEBC failed to conduct elections in line with the constitution and existing electoral laws.

Prior to the ruling, the court also accused IEBC of allegedly denying all parties’ access to servers, a move they said was a plan to conceal truth.
