This is after three judges led by George Odunga asked the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to cancel the paper tender to procure the same to another company.

The opposition had gone to court to bar Al Ghurair from printing the ballot papers on the grounds that the company had links with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Mutula said that the court has decided to add that opposition needs to accept the ruling for the sake of this country.

“Kudos to the court of appeal for the swift determination of the ballot row. We must learn to uphold the findings even when we disagree," he said.

Before the ruling, leaders backing the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto had alleged that NASA was planning to boycott the August general elections.

On their part, NASA leaders have insisted that they are ready for the polls. Raila has, however, urged the electoral body to conduct free and fair polls.
