Following what seemed to be a disagreement between gang members has left one dead in Ruai.
Kayole OCPD Joseph Gachangi explained that the thugs had been out drinking heavily when the incident took place.
“They were drinking at a local bar in Ruai when one of them ran outside after a disagreement with his colleagues. The others followed him and shot him dead before they left,” Mr Gachanga said as reported by the Daily Nation.
According to reports the thugs allegedly shot and wounded two civilians, Tuesday afternoon, at a petrol station along Kangundo road.
“The three were on a motorcycle and when they saw police on patrol approaching, they started shooting at the police and in the process, two civilians were injured,” said Mr Gachanga.
The thugs had earlier been identified by police as the ones responsible for the shooting at the petrol shooting.
The police boss confirmed that they suspects are still being pursued while the victims of the shooting are in stable condition after being taken to Mama Lucy Hospital.
