There was a clash on Saturday morning between Sonko Rescue Team and divers from the Kenya Navy over who should be credited for the recovery of the ill-fated chopper that crashed in Lake Nakuru almost a month ago.

The two teams engaged I a quarrel for over two hours after one of it claimed full credit for the recovery that was made yesterday.

This worsened when Sonko Rescue team, led by their captain Musa Juma refused to take part in lifting the chopper remains out of the frozen lake until their efforts were noted.

Kenya Navy was accused by Sonko Rescue team of coming to the scene unusually early today and controlling everything so that it appears that they are the ones who did everything.

The Sonko rescue team faulted the team from Kenya Navy for not recognizing their efforts despite them working together for the past 29 days.
