Roba says that NASA’s allegations are pure propaganda meant to discredit and tarnish Jubilee’s image ahead of the polls.

In a briefing with journalists on Sunday, Governor Roba said that it has become a norm for Raila Odinga and the opposition to allege of rigging every electioneering period.

“We are used to Raila’s claims of rigging which is a sign of defeat,” Roba said as quoted by the Daily Nation.

The Mandera governor warned NASA against senseless claims which he said could threaten the country’s peace.

NASA presidential flag bear Raila Odinga has been alleging a ploy by the ruling Jubilee government to rig the August 8 polls.

The opposition claims that Jubilee wants to use the military to steal the August 8 election.

The government has however dismissed NASA’s claims terming them as mere propaganda.

Meanwhile, Governor Roba has called on the government to crack the whip on politicians allegedly inciting Kenyans.

Roba wants the government though its relevant agencies not to spare anyone implicated or linked to hate speech and incitement.

The governor said that hate mongers and inciters should be dealt with regardless of their political affiliation or social status.

Roba asked Kenyans to keep off politicians who are out to cause disunity.
