Striking Moi Teaching and Referral hospital (MTRH) nurses have vowed not to resume work until their CBA is registered and implemented. According to the Kenya National Union of Nurses (Knun) MTRH chapter Chairman Kennedy Orangi, the strike is still on until their please are heard."We have been on strike for the last 19 days but no one has bothered to talk to us. This shows lack of commitment," he said in Eldoret town, Monday."We will paralyse everything at MTRH until our CBA registered in the court of law and implemented," he added.He urged Uasin Gishu residents to take their patients to private hospitals for medication.

He called upon President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to call off their campaigns and settle the matter once and for all. Moi Teaching and Referral hospital is the second biggest referral hospital that serves over 15 million patients per month.The contents of the CBA include, monetary and non-monetary terms such as, administration, increment of salaries and pension among others.
