The property has been destroyed in an incident that occurred in Ruai area, Nairobi on Monday when a school dormitory was burnt down.
Three students of Muhuri Muchiri Secondary School were arrested after they torched the dormitory.
In a statement by the police, no one was injured in the incident that was contained by fire engines as all other students were in class for their night studies. However, a number of the students lost their property.
Nairobi police commander Japheth Koome said the students are expected to appear in court to face the charges.
A team of detectives visited the school to look into the issue and to know the motive of torching the dormitory.
