Nails can be used as an external sign to tell if you are healthy, nails that are weak and brittle often signal nutritional deficiency, nails make it easier to pick small things and scratch an itchy.

Keeping your nails hydrated. Always rub a small amount of petroleum jelly or lotion around the skin surrounding your nails every time or whenever your nails feel dry to prevent breakage.

Wear rubber gloves whenever you do housework or wash dishes to protect your nails from harsh chemicals in many cleaners it helps to prevent nail fungus, turn the gloves inside out to dry when you are finished.

 Always wear synthetic socks. They are the best for absorbing the dampness hence it prevents fungal infection, you should change the socks often if you are prone to sweating and you should always air out your shoes.

Avoid polish removers with acetone. Acetone can cause dryness of the nail, it can also strip nails hence making them brittle and susceptible to breakage

Stop biting your nails .Not only are your nails a haven germs that can get you sick, it is damaging to the nails and can cause infection to the nails.
