Four top officials from Nyamira and Kisii County governments yesterday resigned to vie for political seats.
In Nyamira county , Deputy Governors Personal Assistant Daniel Mokoro and Lands Executive Director Janet Komenda quit office.
Dr Komenda will contest for the woman rep Seat on a Ford Kenya ticket while Mr Mokoro will run for the Magwagwa ward rep Seat on a NASA affiliated Party.
County secretary said that Mr Richard Mareri had been appointed to lead the lands docket.
In Kisii already County Secretary Johnstone Ndege who is eyeing the North Mugirango parliamentary Seat left office last month.
Also Patrick Chogoo on Tuesday resigned and will be running for the Kitutu Chache North Seat on an ODM ticket.
The two are yet to be replaced.
