According to Manyora, the Jubilee administration had done some development projects but it was not enough since their cost and value did not tally.

"I know Jubilee has done a lot, just like any new government would do. Any new government will have an advancement of what the outgoing government has done," he told NTV's AMLive show on Tuesday.

The University of Nairobi don, has advised the government to concentrate on politics and leave their development record to be judge by Kenyans if they are serious at retaining power adding that parading their development projects, alone, will not lure Kenyans to reelect then ion the August 8th polls.

"But since this is an election year, i will point out to Jubilee that worst mistake they are making is to try parading their achievement hoping to seduce Kenyans to vote for them, it never works that way," he said.

"This is a time of politics and not a time to parade your achievements. You are just giving the people of this country a chance to interrogate those projects, they will see the exaggerated costs of those projects. Instead of making them see the achievements, they will start seeing the negative things about the projects," he added.
