President Uhuru Kenyatta has been urged to stop being more lenient on NASA coalition leadership once he takes over after IEBC announces him as the winner of the October 26 repeat polls.

Speaking to KTN news on Monday, Chuka Igambang'ombe MP Patrick Munene said Uhuru has been too soft on people who operate against the law like the NASA team, hence he should stamp his authority during his second term in office.

"Once Uhuru is given power today(Monday). I would like to challenge him to stamp his authority a little bit. He has been a very lenient president that is why people are breaking the law," said Munene.

Munene also echoed Deputy president William Ruto's claims that the resistance movement launched by NASA leader Raila Odinga is a militia and should be treated as such.

"The Deputy president restated what Raila Odinga has declared himself. Odinga has declared himself the lord of a national militia movement, Ruto was just repeating that we don't have an opposition leader but a militia leader," said Munene.
