National Assembly Minority Leader Francis Nyenze will have to go an extra mile in order to retain his seat in the forthcoming general elections. This is after Jubilee Kitui West MP candidate Ben Mbai exuded confidence that he will give him a run for his money in the exercise when that time comes. 

The aspirant has been very supportive to needy students whom he has assisted in making their dreams a reality by sponsoring them in their education. Mbai said that time has come for change and voters are no longer going to vote along parties but the performance track record of the aspirants eyeing different elective posts in the election. 

The vocal politician said that he has educated more than 500 students across the area pursuing secondary and university education because of his desire to make the region a better place. 

He further said the August election will focus on development and not parties. 

“Today, even though the party might have various names, people are clearly aware parties are not really the focus in terms of development. They have realized from experience that electing people based on parties can lead to poor development,” he said as quoted by Star.

The aspirant added: “I have distinguished myself as being development conscious and there is evidence.”
