You meet an attractive girl, you exchange numbers, you keep in contact and chemistry builds. You decide to date and everything seems to be going perfectly.
You’ve been with her for some time now and you start picturing a future with her until one day you decide that you want to be with her for the rest of your life.
You plan a proposal from beginning to end; what you will wear, the venue, the crowd and all the other crucial details.You would think that after doing all this of course she would say yes!Well, that was not the case for one Kenyan man otherwise knows as 'Alfie'. His plan totally backfired when the ‘woman of his dreams’ turned down his proposal in front of a crowd at Galitos along Moi Avenue in Nairobi town.The video; which has gone viral all over social media has provoked a lot of mixed reactions from different people as to whether it was real or just a prank.
It is obvious that this guy must have spent hours thinking about how he would put this all together and that there was no way the girl could refuse.
In the video Alfie is seen; just like a proper gentleman, getting down on one knee to propose to the lovely lady.The restaurant goes silent in anticipation. Everything stops and all eyes are on the lovely couple.
He pulls a ring from his pocket and asks the million dollar question, strangely it does not come out the way a traditional proposal would.
“Will you be my future ex-wife?” he asks confidently with the ring in his hand.
In the background, you can hear other women encouraging the lady to say yes, however she seems not very sure what exactly is going on.She can further be seen whispering to the guy in a somewhat discouraging manner persuading him not to carry on with the proposal.Despite her best efforts and a lot of confusion, Alfie carries on and persists on asking the girl to marry him.The video ends with the girl running out of the restaurant, leaving Alfie on bended knee.What he thought was going to be the most important day of his life ended up being one that he will never forget.
