The son of Vihiga Deputy Governor Dr Patrick Lumumba Saisi has made to the list of new players unveiled by newly-promoted side Vihiga United.

The son, identified as Daudi Saisi was among the ten players the KPL debutants paraded on Monday ahead of the new season.

According to reports, Daudi will be playing in the senior team alongside the club's new signings, including Mike Misigo who will be making a return to the Western Kenya-based side from Kariobangi Sharks.

Others include Andrew Murunga who was signed from National Super League (NSL) side Ushuru FC and Ugandan defender Jonathan Mugabi who was released by his parent club Sofapaka.

Vihiga United, which is fully funded by the County will be hoping to carry on with their terrific form as they prepare for their first taste of topflight football in the new season.

The club has since reappointed Edward Manoah the team’s head coach for the next three years.

He was unveiled on Monday at Kidundu Stadium in Vihiga County by club chairman Kahi Indimuli.

Manoah had left the club late last year after a row over a new deal.
