After guiding Harambee Starlets U20 to a heavy 4-1 defeat by Ghana at the weekend, head coach Musa Otieno says he has identified where the team erred.

Kenya lost on an aggregate of 11 - 1.

Speaking after the loss, Otieno pointed a finger at 'simple mistakes' as their biggest undoing in Machakos and added that they had learnt their lesson.

"It was a disappointing result but in football it is a matter of defending well and attacking to score. We conceded because of small mistakes but the girls are learning from it. We were missing players because some are doing their KCSE exams but in football it is a matter of the ones who come and take the positions," Otieno said.

"We are building a team for the future that is why we are going to High Schools because that is where the right age is found," the former Kenya international added.
