Former Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba has asked NASA leaders led by Raila Odinga to stop 'destabilizing' the country lest they invite the International Criminal Court (ICC) to start investigations against them.

Speaking in Nakuru on Monday during Jubilee's  'Mbele Iko Sawa' campaigns in Nakuru which is drumming up support for President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election bid, Namwamba who is also the Labour Party leader asked NASA to stop issuing threats on mass action.

"Let no one threaten us with mass action, that you will cause chaos. We are telling ICC, be ready. We are bringing a real criminal, not that fake case. This is a real criminal who wants to cause bloodshed," Namwamba said amid cheers from a charged crowd.

While asking the locals to reject calls for mass action, Namwamba who was a one-time ODM Secretary-General said that they (residents) should not accept to be used by politicians keen to justify their egos. He instead asked them to turn out in large numbers and re-elect President Kenyatta in next month's presidential rematch even as he exuded confidence that Uhuru will beat Raila once again.
