It doesn’t matter whether you made it official or not, the fact that you gave her attention and showed her a little affection that was enough to get her on the boat.
She got attached because you made her feel like someone when she usually feels like no one.
She felt damages but still had hopes that you are the one, her past experience made her not trust people easily but the fact she believes in people kept the hope alive so don't hate that she gets attached easily, even though she does.
She gets attached easily because she's starved for attention, she loves the feeling of being the center of attention although she does not want to seem clingy. She just wants to be loved so badly that she sees hope in every time that you look at her.
She gets attached easily because she knows she's worth it. She knows she'll eventually find someone that will never disappoint her never let her go never make her feel like a fool for loving with so much intensity.
