According to the senator, Mudavadi has no choice but to stick to Nasa any attempt to walk out would be a stupid move for the former Vice President.

"I am not a member of ANC but i have a history with the party. We learnt our lessons in 2013 as members of ANC when Musalia Mudavadi  ran a vigorous campaign and lost terribly," he told Citizen TV's Power Break Fast show, Thursday.

"For somebody to tell Mudavadi, stupidly, to go it alone, the person either never learnt his lessons or was not there during that time," he added.

The Kakamega governor hopeful also insisted that official position on Nasa flag bearer would be officially announced by the four sister parties led by their principals at a future date, dismissing announcements made by individuals on the flag bearer position.

"I want to speak as an authority and deputy party leader of Ford Kenya. The truth is that what you are hearing fro leaders like Nyenze, Joho and Zani are sideshows. The official position on the flag bearer will come from addressed collectively with all the sister parties in NASA," he said.
